Just arrived

Posted by: Dean White   in India

Just got to the hotel. We are staying at the Ramada. Pretty nice. We got here at 3:30am India time which is 3pm California time. India is 12 and 1/2 hours ahead.  I know strange on the 1/2 thing.  I have been traveling for now 23hrs.  19 of those were on a plane!

India is definitely a different county!  On the 20 min ride from the airport I saw at least 25 wandering dogs, 4 cows laying on the street, and found that the horn is used more than the rearview mirrors.  There are 7 of us on this trip and we are exhausted from our travels but are looking forward to sleeping in and having our eyes opened to the world of India.

Hey Brother,

You look great in the photo. You don’t look tired at all…Hope the trip is fruitful, I was just thinking about you and wondering when you were headed to India. I thought it was in November for some reason. This is really cool, I’ll be checking each day for the blog. I am praying for you and the group. Love ya bro…

Wow! How cool to get your blog and hear what are your first impressions of India. I still can’t quite fathom 19 hours on the plane. We hope you slept well yesterday. Love and Hugs, The Boston Rhodes

Hi Dean!

Matthew forwarded me your blog. I am so excited to keep up with your travels.

How are things going? How did you end up in India? Is Kerri with you? I couldn’t tell for sure in the picture–guess it’s been a while since I’ve seen you guys. How long will you be there?

Good to connect with you again. You and your team are in my prayers!

I love the saying under the statue you saw “a child gives birth to a mother” how beautiful and so true. Your trip sounds very interesting.
Once again we wish you safe travels, The Stewarts

Hi Dean,

I just realized that I could send an message back to you. I have been reading your blogs everyday and have been praying for you. We prayed for you tonight in my Children’s Theatre class. I can tell that this experience has moved your spirit. The Holy Spirit is speaking through you and I am so thankful that you are my brother.

Hi Dean,

I can’t believe that you will be home on Sunday. Your trip looks like it was very rewarding. The children are all so cute, it is hard to imagine that you have to leave them. I am praying for you and your return flight. I love you very much. Jane got two new dogs. I think she is happy. We still miss Skippy.

Love you,
Debbie
